A Loving, Nurturing Childcare Environment

Rosewood Academy Childcare & Preschool strives to be a nurturing community that surrounds your child with love. We are dedicated to treating each child as an individual, with their own needs, so that they mature into an independent and secure adolescent and adult.

We don´t keep our children confined to a classroom all day, but encourage interactive, hands-on activities to develop not only their minds but their bodies, too.

Qualified, Caring Teaching Staff

The staff at Rosewood Academy Childcare & Preschool has only your children´s best interests at heart. Each classroom has appropriate teacher-child ratios as outlined by the state of Nebraska, so that our teachers continually interact with their students throughout the day.

Each staff member has met education qualifications, and has undergone a thorough criminal background check.

Age Appropriate Childcare & Preschool Curriculum & Activities

Our active daycare and preschool  curriculum promotes family involvement to develop healthy, happy kids at home and in the classroom. Each classroom teacher presents the curriculum with age-appropriate activities that encourages mental and physical development. Self-help skills are encouraged as the children participate in their preschool environment. We encourage physical activity whenever possible, and even have an indoor play area for days with inclement weather.

Our daycare facility’s discipline structure is that of positive reinforcement and redirection. Our facility’s staff practices non-violent resolution with each and every child.

Open, Two-Way Communication

Rosewood AcademyChildcare & Preschool builds its sense of community through open communication between the staff and families. Each family is special and what your family does/knows/feels is important to every staff member. Our teachers strive to develop a partnership with our families through communications appropriate to every age level. We want and appreciate feedback from our parents on their child´s life outside of school, knowing that it can impact their school interactions.

Rosewood Academy Parent Highlight

“When we first found Rosewood we were immediately impressed.  Other daycares that we had toured were older and just didn’t seem to give us that “warm fuzzy” that we got when we walked into Rosewood.  Rosewood was new, bright, clean, and most important, WELCOMING!!!  As we toured Rosewood we noticed how happy each staff member and child was in each of the class rooms.  The kids were all busy doing fun activities and we were thrilled that our children would be a part of that one day soon.  As our tour continued, we saw that there was clearly an emphasis on teaching and leading by example.  My wife Kim and I knew instantly that THIS was the place that we wanted our children to be.

We have now been a part of the Rosewood Family for 3 years.  Our kids have learned things like Sign Language and Spanish.  Our daughter, Addie learned Sign Language at Rosewood before she could even talk!  Our son, Connor learned to read at age 4 in his Pre-K class.  The teachers are great and they give each child all of the love and attention they need to make them feel comfortable and help them learn at their own pace.  Our children love the field trips to the zoo, Vala’s Pumpkin Patch, and the Rose Theatre too.  They’ve enjoyed tumbling programs, soccer, and other great activities outside of the normal curriculum at Rosewood.

As a parent, having to leave your child behind at a daycare center can be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.  The staff at Rosewood gives you a sense of security that will make you feel as if you are leaving your child with family!!!  This is what being a part of the Rosewood Family is all about!
