Our toddler childcare program focuses on  providing a positive. engaging environment in which the children learn self-help skills, building language skills through speech and sign language, learning to share, how to follow directions and learning how to play with their friends.

The toddlers develop their gross motor skills in their room as well as our fabulous indoor and outdoor playgrounds.
Fine motor skills development occurs through puzzles, stacking blocks and cups, etc. Our toddlers love books, music, art, dramatic play and sensory activities provided. Your child will receive daily cubby notes as the most important form of communication and it also allows you the chance to share in your child’s busy day. The child-to-teacher ratio in this classroom is 1:6.

Rosewood Academy Parent Highlight

Choosing the right daycare for our daughter was the hardest decision my husband and I ever had to make, and I am so grateful that we chose Rosewood Academy. Words cannot express what it means to me not to have to worry about her and wonder if she is being well taken care of during the day. The teachers there are wonderful. They truly care for the children.

It has been amazing to see how much our 14 month old daughter has learned through Rosewood Academy. My only complaint is that they have taught her how to be so polite (she signs the word “please” anytime she wants something) that it is difficult to turn her down! I am comforted knowing how much fun she has at daycare, and I am excited for her to be able to participate in all of the fun activities they offer as she gets older.
