Hi Kelli,

I have to tell you – we think of you often!  It is so exciting to see your new site being developed and built via Facebook.  Alivia also looks at the pictures to see who she can recognize.  We tried 2 different schools here in MN – one was a Montessori and the other was Kindercare – and we didn’t care for either one of them.  So now Karen is staying home with Alivia until she starts kindergarten in the fall.  Alivia has both skating and dance lessons so she still sees other kids but it will be good for her to go to kindergarten.  We MISS Rosewood – you have such a wonderful environment and you thought of so many things that made Rosewood such a great place!  It truly is a first class Academy!

Thanks so much Kelli and we hope all is well with you and your family!

We have entrusted Kelli Hansen/Rosewood Academy to care for our child from infancy to 8 years. The last 4 years at Rosewood have been exceptional. It is comforting to know that my child is in the best care while I am at work. We feel like family at Rosewood, and the personal attention given to our child is superior. The activities at Rosewood are phenomenal. From Happy Feet to the Story Teller the children are always busy and having fun. The Rosewood staff is very qualified and talented. I would recommend Rosewood Academy to anyone looking for childcare with a family setting.

Hi Kelli and Fran,
I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for everything today! How could such a terrible morning turn into such an unexpected, fantastic afternoon! I am so thankful for how things just worked out the way they were supposed to. Everyone in the infant room was so welcoming and genuinely interested in meeting Brooks and me. I know (without a tinge of doubt) that Brooks will be in the best hands at Rosewood. I look forward to our upcoming years together in being able to shape Brooks into a little guy we will all be so so proud of.
Thank you again…I really can’t thank you enough!

“We recently made the decision to transfer our kids (ages 4 and 2) from an in-home day care to Rosewood Academy. Like most parents, we were initially nervous about how much individual attention they would receive, how quickly they would make new friends, and how they would continue to grow educationally & emotionally.   All of our nervousness stopped the minute we stepped into Rosewood.  From day 1, our entire family was welcomed into the Rosewood community, grandparents included!  Without question, our children are receiving better educational experiences, more interactive play and ultimately more individual attention from the wonderful staff at Rosewood.  The entire staff goes out of their way to make a personal connection with each child.   In just a few short months, both of our kids have grown emotionally and educationally.  We are confident they will be better prepared for school because of Rosewood.  Our only regret is that we didn’t enroll them in Rosewood sooner.  Thank you!”

Being a first time mother it was so difficult to go back to work after spending three months at home with my new son. The staff at Rosewood welcomed my nervous visits throughout those first couple of days. I know my son was well taken care of and very much loved. I especially loved the fact that a teacher in the infant room would sing to Sam. I hadn’t sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” to my son very much. One afternoon when I sang this I noticed his face just lit up. I asked the next day if they had been singing that song to him and of course they had! From the time he was an infant to his now 21 months I am amazed all the things they teach my son and my husband and I love “discovering” his new talents. Rocking Sam to sleep one night I was amazed he could point to his eyes, ears, nose and mouth. It was much more of a discovery for Mom than it was for Sam. I know the teachers, staff and all of the Hansen family give the children they care for all kinds of love and attention throughout the day. I am so impressed with and thankful we found Rosewood Academy.

Choosing the right daycare for our daughter was the hardest decision my husband and I ever had to make, and I am so grateful that we chose Rosewood Academy. Words cannot express what it means to me not to have to worry about her and wonder if she is being well taken care of during the day. The teachers there are wonderful. They truly care for the children.

It has been amazing to see how much our 14 month old daughter has learned through Rosewood Academy. My only complaint is that they have taught her how to be so polite (she signs the word “please” anytime she wants something) that it is difficult to turn her down! I am comforted knowing how much fun she has at daycare, and I am excited for her to be able to participate in all of the fun activities they offer as she gets older.

I am the grandfather of Samuel Likes and have been stopping by the day care for over a year to visit Samuel. Hopefully, I have not been a distraction to any of the employees. I have always been welcomed and am assured I can visit anytime. I find the entire staff of employees very cordial and very professional. It seems that Samuel gets special attention, however, grandparents always feel that way. I know that every child is special to all staff members. Samuel has advanced to his third room and has adjusted quite well. I love to bring him to day care and bring treats for his class. I love to visit him during the day and could not be more pleased with his care. He is with professionals and his parents are also pleased with his total care and well being.

Our youngest is in the Pre-K room and has several foods that she is allergic to.  Ms. Susana has been so helpful and supportive of meeting her dietary needs!  We get the menu calendar in advance and mark the items she can not have or we need to confirm.  Ms. Susana is really good about follow up to ensure items are safe and that she still gets a well balanced meal.  We are so grateful for the support and love our children have gotten from Rosewood and the staff!  We have been truly blessed to have found such a great home away from home for our 2 girls!!

Rosewood Academy has been a part of our family for over 3 years.  My emotional attachment reaches beyond the classroom and into the kitchen, as I am a parent of a child with a severe peanut and egg allergy.  Ms. Susana plays a very important role in ensuring quality care by the food they eat.  Not only are the meals nutritious, but are also monitored for children with special dietary needs.   This creates a sense of reassurance that my child will be well taken care of when I walk out the door.  We thank God every day to have such a wonderful place to bring our children!

“When we first found Rosewood we were immediately impressed.  Other day cares that we had toured were older and just didn’t seem to give us that “warm fuzzy” that we got when we walked into Rosewood.  Rosewood was new, bright, clean, and most important, WELCOMING!!!  As we toured Rosewood we noticed how happy each staff member and child was in each of the class rooms.  The kids were all busy doing fun activities and we were thrilled that our children would be a part of that one day soon.  As our tour continued, we saw that there was clearly an emphasis on teaching and leading by example.  My wife Kim and I knew instantly that THIS was the place that we wanted our children to be.

We have now been a part of the Rosewood Family for 3 years.  Our kids have learned things like Sign Language and Spanish.  Our daughter, Addie learned Sign Language at Rosewood before she could even talk!  Our son, Connor learned to read at age 4 in his Pre-K class.  The teachers are great and they give each child all of the love and attention they need to make them feel comfortable and help them learn at their own pace.  Our children love the field trips to the zoo, Vala’s Pumpkin Patch, and the Rose Theatre too.  They’ve enjoyed tumbling programs, soccer, and other great activities outside of the normal curriculum at Rosewood.

As a parent, having to leave your child behind at a daycare center can be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.  The staff at Rosewood gives you a sense of security that will make you feel as if you are leaving your child with family!!!  This is what being a part of the Rosewood Family is all about!

Kelli and Rosewood Staff –

Thank you for loving our children!

As we approach Pre-K graduation for our third child, it is with great appreciation with which we acknowledge the expert learning environment you have skillfully created.  Our children have been socially and academically prepared to conquer kindergarten.  You have made learning fun and at the same time increased their knowledge in reading, math, foreign language and writing skills.  Our hearts are grateful for the experiences you have afforded to our children.  You have provided a bright beginning to their academic success.

We will always be thankful,

Jon and Jenny S.
