Rosewood Academy Childcare & Preschool is located in northwest Omaha, NE. Our stand-alone building has 11 childcare classrooms, complete with physical and educational activities appropriate for each age group for which we care. Our day care center boasts both indoor and outdoor playgrounds designed to enhance the children’s physical development.

We take extra precautions to keep safety a top priority. Our center is secured at all times and requires a key card to gain access of which you purchase at your time of enrollment.
Rosewood Academy’s On-Site Cook
Rosewood Academy Childcare & Preschool takes pride in providing nutritional meals to the children. From past experience, Kelli (the owner) realizes the importance of an on-site cook on the children’s diet. Our cook takes great pride in each meal she prepares. Our meals/snacks are served to each classroom at the proper temperature each day. The goal is to offer a variety of nutritional foods, staying away from too much sugar and processed foods. Many parents will stop and ask if they can stay for lunch because of the wonderful aromas that come from the kitchen. Although not required, we do follow the State of Nebraska Food Program Guidelines to aid us in both variety and nutrition.
Rosewood Academy Parent Highlights
Our youngest is in the Pre-K room and has several foods that she is allergic to. Ms. Susana has been so helpful and supportive of meeting her dietary needs! We get the menu calendar in advance and mark the items she can not have or we need to confirm. Ms. Susana is really good about follow up to ensure items are safe and that she still gets a well balanced meal. We are so grateful for the support and love our children have gotten from Rosewood and the staff! We have been truly blessed to have found such a great home away from home for our 2 girls!!

Rosewood Academy has been a part of our family for over 3 years. My emotional attachment reaches beyond the classroom and into the kitchen, as I am a parent of a child with a severe peanut and egg allergy. Ms. Susana plays a very important role in ensuring quality care by the food they eat. Not only are the meals nutritious, but are also monitored for children with special dietary needs. This creates a sense of reassurance that my child will be well taken care of when I walk out the door. We thank God every day to have such a wonderful place to bring our children!
